The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries meets May 28 to discuss a potential production cut. OPEC has announced 4.2 million barrels a day of output quota reductions since September, but left production levels unchanged at its last meeting in March. "If prices stay near where they're at, the market will expect OPEC to leave production targets where they are, and make more noise about compliance of existing cuts," Moore said. In other Nymex trading, gasoline and heating oil for June delivery both gained less than a penny to fetch $1.52 a gallon and $1.39 a gallon. Natural gas for June was up slightly at $3.55 per 1,000 cubic feet. In London, Brent prices rose 18 cents to $53.03 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
