[May 06, 2009]  PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A Pittsburgh-area bride and groom have taken plea deals in a hotel brawl with another wedding party the night they got married.

David Wielechowski (wee-luh-CHOW'-skee) was told Tuesday that he'll enter a probation program for first-time offenders. He is a dentist, and his record will be expunged if he provides free dental care to needy children for six months.

His wife couldn't enter the program because of a past drunken driving conviction. Instead, Christa Wielechowski pleaded guilty to harassment. She'll spend six months on house arrest and pay $600 in fines.

Police say the couple fought with people who tried to help Christa Wielechowski after her husband kicked her during an argument. The Wielechowskis have denied that.
