By any standards the second annual Kiwanis Mother's Day buffet was a huge success. Thanks to chef Warren Wendlandt and his great staff at Lincoln College, almost 500 patrons went through the line in less than three hours, enjoying some of the finest foods at an exceptional price.

Kiwanis will use the proceeds from this fundraiser to fund various youth projects in the community, including a $1,000 scholarship to a local youngster attending Lincoln College next year.

The bread tables held many great choices.

The fruits and desserts table was a hit with patrons.

Warren Wendlandt's crew was at the ready to replenish the more than 20 great dishes offered at the buffet.

For 2 1/2 hours the buffet line was packed as the community came to Lincoln College.

The main dining area began to fill up minutes after the buffet began.

The other side of the Meyer-Evans Student Center was used to handle the crowd.

Everyone who came for this superior dining experience was delighted that they made the choice to come to the Kiwanis buffet with mom.
