A great day of fun was had by young and old at the YMCA's third annual Cow Chip Bingo on Saturday. Besides bingo, the Christian praise rock band One Day Closer entertained. A three-in-one inflatable bouncer was a big hit as were the free hot dogs and chips, archery and paintball demonstrations, preschool play stations, face painting and raffles. No doubt the messiest event of the day was the cow pie eating contest, where blindfolded youngsters fed their parents the pies (made of Cool Whip, pudding and ground-up graham crackers). The star of the day was Early, the cow who came to donate her own, unique pies for the event. This third year saw the largest crowd yet to the event.
