Lincoln Police Department reports for Monday, May 11
Accident May 3 at 9:38 p.m.; on North Postville Drive, 357 feet
north of Short Eleventh Street
--Christopher A. Dabbs, 21-year-old male, Lincoln; 1995
Thunderbird LX
Dabbs was traveling southbound on Postville Drive when he lost
control of the vehicle and crossed the northbound lane, running off
the road and driving in the ditch for 427 feet before coming to a
stop. The vehicle was stuck just north of Short 11th Street. There
was minor damage on all of the driver's side.
Dabbs was taken to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
He was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, failure to
reduce speed.

Vehicle damage May 7 at 7 p.m.; on Tremont Street
--Glenn F. Michaelis, 73-year-old male, Lincoln; 1995 General
Motors (Van 4x2)
Michaelis said the vehicle was parked on the street in front of
his residence. He said he was out of town since May 7 around 7 p.m.
He noticed the damage in the morning.

Accident on May 9 at 9:09 a.m.; at the intersection of Business
55 and Stringer Avenue
--James F. Archer, 83-year-old male, Lincoln; 1993 Lexus GS 300
--Doris E. Last, female, 75-year-old female, Hartsburg, 1993
Plymouth Sundance
Archer was westbound on Stringer Avenue at Lincoln Parkway. He
had a stop sign, started across the intersection and struck Last.
Archer said he didn't realize Last was so close. Last said she was
unable to stop in time.
Archer was at fault and cited for failure to yield from a stop
intersection. A passenger was taken to Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital by Logan County Paramedics.
