[May 13, 2009]  Lincoln Daily News is pleased to announce that Lincoln native Janice (Jan) Loeffelholz has joined our publication in the advertising department.

Karen Hargis, LDN advertising manager, is enthused about having Jan come on board. "I am just so excited to work again with Jan," Hargis said. "She knows everyone and is such a great people person. She comes with a wealth of advertising experience and knows Logan County."

Loeffelholz has been in media sales for three decades, including stints with the local radio station and local print publication. Her skills will be another great asset in the ever-growing LDN family.

Over the years, Jan has developed strong relationships with many of the businesses in the county. She melds enthusiasm and solid business acumen into all her relationships, and we look forward to her helping area businesses in their success.

Jan is a great fit with the LDN family, according to managing editor Mike Fak. "If I had a chance to have anyone come help us with our increasing growth in advertising, it would be Jan," he said. "She is one of my favorite people in the world and a pleasure to be around. When I knew that Jan was joining us, it made my year, let alone my day."

Jan is married to Tom Loeffelholz and has three children: son Mark, an operations manager at Pet Smart in Springfield; daughter Lori, a high school teacher in Palmetto, Fla.; and son Michael, an actor living in Los Angeles.

She is a member of Holy Family Church.

Welcome, Jan!
