Lincoln Police Department report for Thursday, May 14
Property damage May 12 at 1:58 a.m.; Davenport Street, 41 feet east
of North Chicago Street
--Unknown vehicle
--Rodney L. Goodwin, 44-year-old male, Lincoln; 1995 Ford Taurus

Goodwin's vehicle was parked in front of his residence on
Davenport Street. An unknown vehicle was traveling northbound on
North Chicago Street and attempted to turn eastbound onto Davenport
Street. The unknown vehicle left the roadway at the end of North
Chicago Street, jumped the curb, struck the guardrail of a light
post and headed into the yard of the residence on Davenport Street.
The guardrail was not damaged but was moved slightly. The vehicle
continued through the yard, struck and damaged a swing set, then
struck the front driver's side of Goodwin's vehicle. The unknown
vehicle backed up and headed in an unknown direction.
Goodwin said he heard the commotion but was unable to come out in
time to see what type of vehicle it was or the direction of travel.

- Moon, Gene A., 54-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested May 12 at
his residence; failure to appear -- Macon County; $200 cash
