Agriculture futures mostly lower on the CBOT

[May 16, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery dropped 13.5 cents to $6.875 a bushel, while July corn lost 10 cents at $4.5625 a bushel and July soybeans fell 8 cents to $9.49 a bushel. Oats for July delivery were unchanged at $3.31 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures mostly fell and pork futures were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged down 0.43 cent to 82.37 cents a pound; August feeder cattle was flat at $1.0165 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.48 cent to 66.52 cents a pound; and July pork bellies lost 0.45 cent to 73.1 cents a pound.
