The Lincoln Area YMCA is glad to welcome
Eric Young to our summer staff. Eric, a LCHS graduate, is
currently a senior at WIU. He is completing his internship with the
Lincoln Area YMCA from May to August. Eric is a recreation, park and
tourism administration major with a minor in law enforcement. We
look forward to a productive summer with Eric's help.

We are looking for kids 4-5 years who are interested in Sports of
all Sorts. In this camp, participants will learn the skills
necessary to play soccer, basketball, baseball and football. The
camp will meet at the Y Activity Center from 11 a.m. to noon during
the week of June 15-18. Register before June 1 to avoid a fee
increase.
June 1 is the registration deadline for YMCA Girls Basketball
Camp. This instructional camp for girls first to sixth grade
will be led by Carol Wilson, Lincoln College basketball coach. Join
Carol as she instructs participants on the fundamentals of
basketball, including dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. This
camp will be June 15-18, with sessions from 10 to 11 a.m. for first
to third grade and from 11 a.m. to noon for fourth to sixth grade.
Sign your girls up for the YMCA Softball Clinic before
June 8 to avoid a fee increase. This clinic, led by Brandon Brosamer,
is for girls 8-10 years. Join Brandon as he teaches participants how
to become better hitters, field their position, improve throwing and
catching skills, and run the bases. This clinic will meet June 22-25
from 9 to 11 a.m. Register now. Don't miss out on the fun!

The YMCA is glad to announce Jeff Nelson as our Golf Clinic
instructor. Jeff will teach participants the fundamentals of golf,
including club choice, form, stance and swing. This clinic is for
kindergarten through eighth grade and will meet at the Lincoln Elks
Club. The first session will be July 6, 7, 8 and 10, and a second
session is scheduled for Aug. 3-6. Times are 10 to 11 a.m. for
kindergarten through fourth grade and 11 a.m. to noon for fifth to
eighth grade. Register before June 20 to avoid a fee increase.
Art Camp is a cool, relaxing way to spend the summer. Join us
June 22-25 for Camp 1 -- Storybook Art, and July 6-9 for Camp 2 --
