The 2009 graduation for the
Montessori Children's House of Lincoln was
on Friday. The program
began with the Graduation March, followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance. Several students did piano solos and duets, and James Rolewicz and Diane Tomczak were given their graduation certificates
and are now ready for first grade. After graduation, the students
performed a skit about four French children visiting Fisher Island's
marketplace off South Beach, Miami. The skit was done completely in
French and the audience loved it. These children were quite
remarkable. It is amazing what they have learned and how much they
loved sharing it with those they love. Great things are coming
their way and we applaud their efforts and wish them well. Kudos to
Bethany Vickers and her staff. Well done!

After arriving at the marketplace, the children
are excited to see what they can find. They delight in their
discovery of all the fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. And
after such a journey, they are very hungry.
