Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[May 29, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 4.75 cents to $6.305 a bushel and July corn rose 2.75 cents to $4.2875 a bushel, while July oats lost 3.75 cents to $2.50 a bushel and soybeans for July delivery fell 8 cents to $11.79 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slid 0.87 cent to 81.5 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.63 cent to $1.0182 a pound; June lean hogs advanced 0.13 cent to 65.4 cents a pound; and July pork bellies rose 0.3 cent to 72.95 cents a pound.
