[May 29, 2009]  LONDON (AP) -- A judge for the "Britain's Got Talent" television program says singer Susan Boyle briefly considered pulling out of this weekend's final because the pressure was getting to her.

Judge Piers Morgan is defending Boyle -- the favorite to win the talent show competition.

Morgan says on his blog that Boyle's been in a "flood of tears." He says she has even "fleetingly felt like quitting the show altogether."

Boyle shot to fame when her first performance became an Internet sensation. She made tabloid headlines earlier this week when she lost her temper in a north London hotel after being taunted.

The Daily Mirror is reporting Friday that she has gone into seclusion.
