 The Zonta Club of Lincoln held their annual
turkey dinner on Sunday and it was a huge success.
Zonta members, with some great help from the
LCHS Honor Society, served up 1,033 meals during the 2 1/2-hour
event. Most of the day, both wings of the LCHS cafeteria were filled
with diners. This year also saw a large turnout for carryout orders.
The funds generated from the dinner will be
used to give scholarships to area students to help them continue
their academic careers.
