Agriculture futures mixed Tuesday

[November 04, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 1 cent to $5.1575 a bushel, while December corn gained 7.75 cents to $3.90 a bushel and oats for December delivery rose 2.75 cents to $2.57 a bushel. January soybeans jumped 12.5 cents to $10.105 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle edged down 0.52 cent to 85.7 cents a pound January feeder cattle shed 0.3 cent to 95.27 cents a pound December lean hogs fell 0.17 cent to 57.55 cents a pound and February pork bellies slipped 0.15 cent to 89.15 cents a pound.
