Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[November 05, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery climbed 5.25 cents to $5.21 a bushel, while December corn slid 6 cents to $3.84 a bushel and oats for December delivery rose 1 cent to $2.58 a bushel. January soybeans dropped 11.5 cents to $9.99 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures rose and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle edged up 0.55 cent to 86.25 cents a pound; January feeder cattle advanced 1.43 cents to 96.7 cents a pound; December lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 57.8 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 1.35 cents to 87.8 cents a pound.
