Tournament results for LJHS

[November 09, 2009]  ATHENS -- LJHS girls won their games in a basketball tournament at Athens on Saturday.

Seventh grade:

LJHS played Blessed Sacrament, who was undefeated, and won 36-32 for a first-place finish.

• Emmi Fisher, 14 points

• Maddy Cooper, 6 points

Eighth grade:

LJHS played Springfield Calvary and won 28-16 for the consolation championship.

• Katie Kelly, 10 points

• Ayla Michael, 6 points
