[November 10, 2009]  Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services is pleased to announce that funding from the Logan County United Way will help support services to local individuals and families who may not have the means to pay for the entire costs of counseling sessions.

"The goal of Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services is to never turn anyone away who needs help but cannot afford private counseling. It offers its sessions on a sliding scale fee," said Paul Boatman, president of the Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services board. "Costs per session are adjusted for people who have limited financial resources. United Way support will help us continue meeting the needs of many local families."

Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services has offered counseling to couples, families, children, adolescents and adults since 1981. Its staff of six pastoral counselors works with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, adolescent issues, domestic violence and divorce recovery.
