Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[November 11, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery rose 3 cents to $5.23 a bushel, while December corn jumped 8.5 cents to $3.945 a bushel and oats for December delivery gained 5.25 cents to $2.6375 a bushel. January soybeans lost 4 cents to $9.68 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle shed 0.35 cent to 84.6 cents a pound; January feeder cattle edged down 0.98 cent to 94.72 cents a pound; December lean hogs slipped 0.18 cent to 55.62 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 0.23 cent to 84.37 cents a pound.
