Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[November 12, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 8.75 cents to $5.3175 a bushel, while December corn slipped 0.5 cent to $3.94 a bushel and oats for December delivery gained 2.75 cents to $2.665 a bushel. January soybeans added 4 cents to $9.72 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle lost 0.95 cent to 83.65 cents a pound; January feeder cattle edged down 1.25 cents to 93.47 cents a pound; December lean hogs slipped slightly 0.02 cent to 55.6 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 1.13 cents to 85.5 cents a pound.
