Tuesday evening Postville Courthouse was lit from top to bottom with a warm, inviting glow as aldermen gathered for their third "roadshow" meeting.

Inside, Alderwoman Kathy Horn gets help from Ward 2 resident Chuck Gonzo in setting up chairs for the meeting.

As the room fills, the usual seating order is a little different, but everyone is there.

Generally council recorder Risa Riggs would be sitting with the mayor and city clerk, but tonight the need for a power plug brought her to the aldermen's table.

As the room filled with aldermen, city department heads, press and guests, it became quite cozy but not uncomfortable.

Alderwoman Kathy Horn offers some information on the ward as Alderwoman Joni Tibbs listens.
