Agriculture futures fall on Chicago BOT

[November 13, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery dipped 2.75 cents to $5.29 a bushel; December corn shed 3.25 cents to $3.9075 a bushel; January soybeans dropped 4 cents to $9.68 a bushel; and oats for December delivery lost 1.5 cents to $2.65 a bushel.

In other trading, beef and pork prices dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle slipped 0.28 cent to 83.37 cents a pound; January feeder cattle dipped 0.12 cent to 93.35 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 1 cent to 54.60 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 1.40 cents to 84.10 cents a pound.
