Lincoln Christian University defeats Ozark Christian College

[November 13, 2009]  KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University were extended to four games before they were able to defeat Ozark Christian College in the NCCAA Division II National Volleyball Championship tournament Thursday evening.  

LCU dropped the first game 25-19 before taking the next three games 25-20, 25-21 and 25-13.

The Red Lions, 26-6, completed the first day of the tournament with two victories, having won their earlier match with Philadelphia Biblical University in three games, and will be completing pool play with two games on Friday.

They will compete against Trinity College of Florida at 9 a.m. and then take on Manhattan Christian College at 3 p.m. Semifinals will be played at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the championship game at 3 p.m.
