Lincoln Police Department reports for Thursday, Nov. 19
Hit-and-run on Nov. 18, at 6:46 p.m.; Illinois 10-121, 8 feet
west of Grand Avenue

--Brian M. Hutchison, male, 33, of Lincoln; 1991 Ford F150 Series
Hutchison was traveling eastbound on Woodlawn Road at Grand
Avenue. The unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound on Woodlawn Road
behind Hutchison. Hutchison slowed down to turn northbound onto
Grand Avenue. The unknown vehicle did not stop and collided with
Hutchison's rear bumper, causing moderate damage to the bumper.
Hutchison said he pulled onto Grand Avenue to check the damage,
and the unknown vehicle proceeded eastbound on Woodlawn Road, away
from the incident. Hutchison described the unknown vehicle as a
small, dark-colored vehicle, possibly a newer model Ford Escort. He
did not see a license plate number.
A witness to the incident said he was standing in the yard of 201
Woodlawn Road when he saw the accident. The witness said that
Hutchison slowed down to turn onto Grand Avenue when the unknown
vehicle collided with Hutchison's rear bumper. The witness said that
the unknown vehicle proceeded eastbound on Woodlawn Road, away from
the incident. The witness said he did not see a license plate
number, but he described the vehicle as a small, dark-colored, newer
model car, possibly a Ford Escort.
