City council roadshow Ward 1

This week the city council hit the road and took the show to the Lincoln Rural Fire Department on the city's west side. The LRFD is located north of the Woodlawn and Lincoln Parkway ntersection and is in Ward 1.

Ward 1 Alderwoman Stacy Bacon opened the meeting, saying she has lived in Ward 1 for 17 years. She discussed the business attributes of the ward, citing the growth that has occurred in the ward.

 

Alderwoman Anderson thanked the LRFD for opening their facility to the council.

 

LRFD Chief Chad Letterle, who sat in on the evening's meeting.

At the end of the evening, a birthday cake was presented to Mayor Keith Snyder. Snyder will celebrate his 50th on Thanksgiving Day.

 

After the meeting anyone who wished was offered a tour of the facility.
