[November 24, 2009]  An afternoon of mystery and fun at the Lincoln Public Library on Friday, Nov. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. Junior high students of all Lincoln schools are invited. Help solve the case of who wants to keep Kat from going to school. Expect to be present for the entire two hours. LPL will need to start promptly in order to finish the game. Refreshments will be served after the mystery is solved! The mystery will be solved at the Lincoln Public Library Annex Community Room.

Friendship Manor's Festival of Trees runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 5. All proceeds go to Lincoln and Logan County charities. For a chance to really get in the Christmas spirit as well as enjoy great food, this is something for the entire family to enjoy.

Lincoln native Michael Loeffelholz will be on the Fox network's new show "Glee" this Wednesday evening at 8 CST. Michael is a 1989 graduate of Lincoln Community High School as well as a 1991 graduate of Lincoln College. The son of Tom and Janice Loeffelholz, Michael has appeared at the Barn in Goodfield as well as Steppenwolf in Chicago.

The LCHS Wrestling Boosters will have their annual pancake and sausage, biscuits and gravv breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Knights of Columbus. Donations are $6 for adults, $4 for kids 12 and under, and free for youngsters 5 and under. This is a great meal to help a great cause, so don't miss this breakfast.

Don't forget, this Saturday, Nov. 28, is the annual Pride of the Prairie, sponsored by the Lincoln Park District. It runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For complete details, click here.
