Comments from LC coach Mark Tippett: "Our players competed very
well against one of the better teams in the country tonight. We were
aggressive with our serving and proved we can volley with a strong
offensive team. Our front-row players blocked well at the net, which
kept things close during the first three sets. Parkland seemed to
have a knack for putting together a three-point run at just the
right time to get away from us, but overall we played right with
them. I was proud of the effort we gave tonight and encouraged by
the way we competed."
LC will continue their stretch of road games with a tri-match at
Carl Sandburg College on Thursday.
