Lincoln Jaycees Haunted House, 'Your Final Judgment,' starts Friday

[October 07, 2009]  The Lincoln Jaycees' annual tradition is back again at a new location, 390 Limit St., next to Modern Brake and AmerenCILCO. Receive "Your Final Judgment" in all-new, bloodcurdling rooms with many new twists and turns along the way, culminating in our pitch-black terrifying maze.

Dates of operation are Oct. 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 23 and 24, and 28-31. Hours are 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 7-10 p.m. Oct. 28-29, and 7 p.m.-midnight on Halloween.

There will be two special matinees for kids: Oct. 24 and 31, 2-4 p.m. Lights will be on and monsters will be friendly.

Regular admission is $6 per person. Receive $1 off with the donation of canned food. Admission is only $2 for the matinees.

The Lincoln Jaycees serve Lincoln and the surrounding communities as a not-for-profit organization. Participation in Jaycees gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections.

The Lincoln Jaycees host various community activities, such as an Easter egg hunt, Breakfast with Santa and Angel Tree. They have a variety of management and fundraising projects, such as the Haunted House and Lincoln Speedway 50-50.
