Agriculture futures trade mostly lower on the CBOT

[October 21, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery slipped 0.25 cent to $5.175 a bushel, while December corn lost 1.75 cents to $3.845 a bushel and oats for December delivery were unchanged at $2.59 a bushel. November soybeans dropped 13.75 cents to $9.825 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures also fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle edged down 0.3 cent to 86.15 cents a pound; November feeder cattle shed 0.32 cent to 95.2 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 1.18 cents to 52.87 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid 1.5 cents to 80.45 cents a pound.
