Integrity Data employees award $10,000 in Community Giving Program grants

[October 20, 2009]  The employees of Integrity Data in Lincoln have awarded a total of $10,000 in grant money to area not-for-profit organizations. The funds, awarded from an Integrity Data employee giving fund, were distributed on Friday at a luncheon honoring recipients.

"Through the effort and hard work of all our employees, we make a portion of our company profits available for employees to distribute to not-for-profit organizations in the community," says Angie Ford, administrative services coordinator with Integrity Data. "Community and family are at the center of all that we do at Integrity Data. And employees want to have a meaningful impact on our community. So a few years ago we developed our Community Giving Program as a way to provide financial support for not-for-profit organizations we feel have an important mission in our community."

"Integrity Data is blessed to be a growing, thriving business, even during a time of national economic difficulties," says Thomas Franz, senior quality assurance supervisor with Integrity Data. "We as employees are excited to be able to share that good fortune by helping these not-for-profit organizations in our community."

Integrity Data received a total of 21 applications from qualified, tax-exempt organizations serving the residents of Logan County. Applications were then evaluated and voted on by Integrity Data's Community Giving Program Committee. Grant recipients are:

• Lincoln Area YMCA -- Funds will be used toward a new outdoor playground at the YMCA's Wyatt Avenue facility for preschool and elementary age children.

• Lincoln Community High School's Media Communications class -- Funds will be used to purchase a camera with a microphone jack and a microphone set with a lavalier and hand-held microphone.

• Logan County Sheriff's Department -- Funds will be used toward replacing old 8 mm in-car cameras with new digital in-car police video systems that record onto DVDs.

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes -- Funds will be used to purchase a public address system, portable projection screen and projector.

• Lincoln Elementary School District -- Funds will be used to purchase a mobile technology station for use with interactive whiteboards, including a cart, LCD projector, netbook, wireless access point and DVD/VCR combo.

• Zion Lutheran School -- Funds will be used to purchase five whiteboards for the kindergarten, first-, second-, third-, fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms.

Founded in 1996, Integrity Data has developed enhancement products for Microsoft Dynamics GP Payroll and Human Resources users across the globe.
