GED testing schedule for 2010

[October 27, 2009]  The Logan-Mason-Menard Regional Office of Education announces its upcoming GED Test schedule for 2010. All GED Tests for residents of Logan, Mason and Menard counties will be administered in the Regional Office of Education in Lincoln, located at the Dr. John Logan Building, 122 N. McLean St. (Enter at the front of the building.) 

To register for the GED Test, applicants must apply in person at either the Lincoln or Havana office. The Regional Office of Education in Havana is located at the Mason County Courthouse, 125 N. Plum St., Havana, IL 62644.

Proof of passing the Constitution Test must be presented prior to taking the GED. The cost of the test is $50, and all applicants need to bring a government-issued ID with a current address.  

GED Test dates in 2010 (subject to change):

  • Wednesday, Jan. 27

  • Wednesday, Feb. 24

  • Wednesday, March 24

  • Wednesday, April 28

  • Wednesday, May 26

  • Wednesday, June 23

  • Wednesday, July 28

  • Wednesday, Aug. 25

  • Wednesday, Sept. 22

  • Wednesday, Oct. 27

  • Tuesday, Nov. 16

  • Wednesday, Dec. 8

All tests will be administered in a single day. Applicants must arrive at the Lincoln office by 7:45 a.m. Participants may bring bottled water, bottled soft drinks, and a nonperishable lunch or snack, if desired. Valid photo ID and a copy of the registration form are required upon check-in.
