Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[October 31, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery dropped 9.5 cents to $4.9425 a bushel, while December corn sank 13.5 cents to $3.66 a bushel and oats for December delivery fell 2.75 cents to $2.545 a bushel. January soybeans lost 10.5 cents to $9.765 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures were mixed and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle edged down 0.6 cent to 85.67 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 0.05 cent to 95.07 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 0.5 cent to 56.7 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid 1.5 cents to 89.3 cents a pound.
