Lincoln Writers Club to meet on Tuesday

[September 10, 2009]  The Lincoln Writers Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the Alumni Room of the Lincoln College dining hall.

Jim Croegaert will be the guest speaker. He is from the Chicago area and is best known for penning "Was It a Morning Like This?" This song was the title song of Sandi Patty's Grammy Award-winning album. Croegaert has had several other songs recorded by well-known Christian artists and is a gifted musician himself. Samples of his music can be heard at www.roughstonesmusic.com. He will also be playing Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 301 Pekin St.

Suggested writing topics for the club: your favorite sport, recreation or hobby.
