The Logan County Grand Jury issued four indictments on Aug. 12:

  • Michael J. Robinson, 27, was indicted for criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/12-13(a)(1).

  • Kenneth D. Smith, 28, was indicted for unlawful possession of contraband in a penal institution, a Class 1 felony, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/31A-1.2(b).

  • David M. Riva, 44, was indicted for the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/12-16(b)

  • Russell F. Barrett III, 62, was indicted for the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/12-16(c)(1)(I).
