Agriculture futures mostly lower on Chicago BOT

[September 24, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery climbed 2.25 cents to $4.58 a bushel; December corn shed 3.25 cents to $3.225 a bushel; November soybeans tumbled 14 cents to $9.08 a bushel; and oats for December delivery lost 1 cent to $2.12 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.43 cent to 85.70 cents a pound; October feeder cattle added 0.22 cent to 97.07 cents a pound; October lean hogs gained 1.23 cents to 51.10 cents a pound; while February pork bellies slid 0.40 cent to 81 cents a pound.
