Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[September 30, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery dropped 8.25 cents to $4.475 a bushel, while December corn rose 2.25 cents to $3.41 a bushel and November soybeans lost 2.5 cents to $9.17 a bushel. Oats for December delivery jumped 9 cents to $2.34 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle edged down 0.45 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.65 cent to 95.8 cents a pound; October lean hogs gained 0.4 cent to 50.27 cents a pound; and February pork bellies climbed 2 cents to 84.7 cents a pound.
