Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices lower

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed early Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery added 1 cent to $4.515 a bushel, while May soybeans lost 3.5 cents to $9.375 a bushel. May corn was unchanged at $3.45 a bushel, and May oats were unchanged at $2.08 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.35 cent to 93.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle shed 0.37 cent to $1.1260 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.50 cent to 83.40 cents a pound; and May pork bellies dipped 0.15 cent to 96.65 cents a pound.
