Wendy's owner Tom Ashley and
his son J.T. (pictured) had another busy day at the local eatery, but
this time it was because they were overseeing a major remodel to the
popular food stop on Lincoln's west side.
After almost 20 years in
business, the restaurant is being completely renovated. Ashley says
the $200,000 remodel is all being handled by local contractors.
Roger Webster Construction, electrician Joe Fitzpatrick, Ron Hall
Painting and A-Plus Carpet & Furniture Cleaners are all involved with the remodel that
will take less than two weeks. But patrons of the establishment need
not worry. While the interior is being renovated, the kitchen and
drive-through are still operational.
