Hallock, Ashley F., 27-year-old female,
Champaign; 2009 Mazda 5
Driver one was backing out of a parking space at the same time as
Hallock was backing out from the opposite side of the aisle. The two
vehicles backed into one another, causing damage to the
driver's-side door of the Hallock vehicle. Both drivers said they
did not see the other, and the officer at the scene said he could
not determine who was at fault.
Hit-and-run on Sangamon Street
Accident occurred March 28 at 12:01 a.m.
- Eads, Marchelle L., 36-year-old female, Beason; 2010 Dodge
Durango
Eads reported that she was parked on South Sangamon Street, off
Broadway, and an unknown vehicle struck hers, then left the scene.
Car versus bike on North Ottawa Street
Accident occurred April 3 at 1:16 p.m.

Mauhar, Ashleigh
L., 28-year-old female, Lincoln; 1999 Toyota 4-Runner

Garrison, Thomas P., Lincoln; Trifecta
pedicycle
Mauhar was southbound on North Ottawa. She said she stopped at
the intersection but did not see Garrison and proceeded through,
striking the cyclist.
Garrison said that he saw Mauhar stop. He proceeded to cross the
street as she moved into the intersection, striking him. He also
reported an injury to his left leg but did not immediately seek
medical treatment.

Parking lot mishap on Postville Drive
Accident occurred on March 30 at 9:01 p.m.

43-year-old female, Lincoln; 1999 Ford F-250 pickup

Woolard, Elaine M., 59-year-old female,
Lincoln: 2003 Mercury Sable LS
Davis was backing out of a parking space in the 1300 block of
North Postville Drive and struck the Woolard vehicle, which was
parked in an unlined area.

Blankenship,
Brandon J., 22-year-old male, Beason; arrested April 3 in Scully
Park on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear. Bond was
set at $250 cash.

Hutchcraft, Landon
L., 20-year-old male, Pleasant Plains; arrested April 5 on
College Avenue at Lincoln Avenue on Class A charge of driving
with license suspended. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

Merreighn, Kristena D., 19-year-old
female, Lincoln; arrested April 6 in the 700 block of North
Madison on Class A charge of leaving the scene of an accident
with vehicle damage.
Logan County Sheriff's Department report for Tuesday, April 6
- Jenkins, Mary F., 30-year-old female, Decatur; arrested
April 5 on Route 121 at 1000 Street, Mount Pulaski, on Class A
charge of driving with an expired driver's license. Bond was set
at $1,000, 10 percent.
