Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly higher early Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for May delivery added 0.5 cent to $4.54 a bushel; May corn gained 1.5 cents to $3.4725 a bushel; May soybeans rose 1 cent to $9.37 a bushel; and May oats were unchanged at $2.08 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.23 cent to 93.37 cents a pound; May feeder cattle inched up 0.03 cent to $1.1415 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.75 cent to 85.80 cents a pound; and May pork bellies traded up 0.08 cent to 98.60 cents a pound.
