Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were flat or higher early Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for May delivery slipped 5 cents to $4.585 a bushel; May corn lost 1.25 cents to $3.4525 a bushel; May soybeans were flat at $9.445 a bushel; and May oats were unchanged at $2.1025 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 1.13 cents to 94.70 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 1.48 cents to $1.1470 a pound; June lean hogs rose 1.35 cents to 85.65 cents a pound; and May pork bellies traded up 1.83 cents to 97.50 cents a pound.
