Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly fall

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell early Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for May delivery slipped 3.75 cents to $4.715 a bushel; May corn lost 5.25 cents to $3.5125 a bushel; May soybeans shed 1.5 cents to $9.51 a bushel; and May oats fell 1.75 cents to $2.1575 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle dropped 0.48 cent to 94.27 cents a pound; May feeder cattle slipped 0.45 cent to $1.1380 a pound; June lean hogs lost 0.55 cent to 84.05 cents a pound; and May pork bellies traded up 0.05 cent to 96.50 cents a pound.
