[April 20, 2010]  RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Police pulled over one SUV and took two men into custody on suspicion of drunken driving.

A motorist reported a driver committing several traffic violations from Sparks into Reno on Saturday night. The caller suspected the driver was intoxicated and followed the vehicle to a fast-food restaurant.

Sgt. Rob VanDiest said the witness told police he watched the passenger pull a man from the driver's seat and carry him to the passenger's side, then got behind the wheel and began to drive away when officers arrived.

VanDiest said both men were found to be at least three times over the legal limit and were arrested.
