Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices rise

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed early Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery added 1.5 cents to $4.8875 a bushel; July corn gained 0.75 cent to $3.6925 a bushel; July soybeans dropped 2 cents to $9.75 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.2025 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures climbed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 0.32 cent to 93.27 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose 0.30 cent to $1.1250 a pound; June lean hogs gained 0.30 cent to 85.25 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 0.85 cent to 94.90 cents a pound.
