Ø Castle Manor: Common Misconceptions About Supportive Living
1. You lose all your assets & belongings if you move in to Castle Manor.
FALSE! We believe in financial independence, and you remain in charge of your financial affairs. We accept all income levels: some residents pay privately, and others qualify for financial assistance through the Supportive Living program.
2. There is no independence.
NOT SO! Castle Manor encourages its residents to be as active as they can safely be. You can come and go as you please, and we have a van that transports residents around town for various outings and activities. We have a busy activity calendar and many community events.
3. If it’s just like living at home, why move?
IT’S BETTER THAN HOME! The staff at Castle Manor will help with medication reminders, housekeeping and laundry, meals, activities of daily living, to name a few. It is a social community environment, where seniors thrive.
