Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly drop

[April 20, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell early Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery dropped 12 cents to $4.905 a bushel; July corn fell 10 cents to $3.64 a bushel; July soybeans slid 6 cents to $9.89 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.20 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures also were mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.23 cent to 94.42 cents a pound; May feeder cattle dropped 0.47 cent to $1.1220 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.50 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; and May pork bellies climbed 1.45 cents to 99 cents a pound.
