Career programs the topic at Heartland's Lincoln Center info night April 22

[April 20, 2010]  Heartland Community College's Lincoln Center will host a career programs info fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the college's Lincoln Extension Center, 620 Broadway St.

InsuranceAll current and prospective students considering career programs in technology, business, office administration, or the health and human service field are encouraged to attend to learn more about Heartland's academic and career training offerings. Faculty and staff will be present to answer questions about particular programs. Free cookies and punch also will be served.

"This is a wonderful event for Logan County residents interested in discovering what their community college has to offer," said Sarah Diel-Hunt, associate dean of social and business sciences. "Each year, we hear about people of all ages who are pleased and surprised by the opportunities Heartland Community College provides for them and their families. We're happy to be able to provide such career services programs in the area."
