Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices rise

[April 22, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed early Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for July delivery dipped 0.5 cent to $4.98 a bushel; July corn gained 2.75 cents to $3.68 a bushel; July soybeans rose 6.5 cents to $10.005 a bushel; and July oats slipped 0.25 cent to $2.1525 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 0.77 cent to 95.37 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 0.57 cent to $1.1312 a pound; June lean hogs rose 1.30 cents to 86.80 cents a pound; and May pork bellies climbed 0.15 cent to 98 cents a pound.
