Tales coming from Mindy Kaling of 'The Office'

[April 23, 2010]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Mindy Kaling of "The Office" has some stories to tell.

She is releasing some comic essays about her life, and life in general, called "The Contents of My Purse. Crown Publishers said Thursday that it comes out in fall 2011.

Crown says the 30-year-old Kaling will write about clothes, romance and "the day she was horrified to learn her boyfriend could fit into her jeans."

She stars as Kelly Kapoor in "The Office," for which she also writes and is an executive producer.
