Accident reports for Friday, April 23 Driver ticketed for
driving too fast for conditions and failure to reduce speed to avoid
an accident
Accident occurred April 21 at 12:23 p.m. at the intersection of
Route 10 (Woodlawn Road) and Connolley Road.

Eimer, Craig S., 44-year-old male,
Lincoln; 2007 Dodge Ram
Eimer reported that he was stopped on Woodlawn for a red light at
the intersection with Connolley Road when Mille struck his vehicle
from behind.
Mills said that he had turned his eyes away from the road
momentarily, then struck the Eimer vehicle. Mills was ticketed for
driving too fast for conditions and failure to reduce speed to avoid
an accident.
Driver ticketed for failure to yield while turning left
Accident occurred April 21 at 5:45 p.m. on Route 10 (Woodlawn
Road) at Wendy’s exit.

78-year-old male, Lincoln; 2010 Buick Lucerne

Jenkins, Kaylay, 19-year-old female,
New Holland; 2005 Kia Spectra
Report indicated that Jenkins was traveling west on Woodlawn
while Eimer was preparing to pull out of the Wendy’s parking lot
into the westbound lane. In negotiating the turn, Eimer struck the
Jenkins vehicle.
Eimer was ticketed for failure to yield while turning left.
Jenkins also received a ticket, for operating an uninsured vehicle.

19-year-old male, Lincoln, arrested April 22 at his residence on
a Logan County warrant. No details as to the type of warrant
were listed on the citation. Bond was set at $3,500, 10 percent.

50-year-old male, Lincoln, arrested April 22 at his residence on
a Logan County warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at
$3,000, 10 percent.

Hopson, Derrick L., 39-year-old male,
Lincoln, arrested April 22 at his residence on a McLean County
warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $3,000, 10
percent.
