Agriculture futures fall, livestock prices mixed

[April 24, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly lower early Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery lost 1.5 cents to $5.095 a bushel; July corn fell 3.5 cents to $3.68 a bushel; July soybeans dropped 3.5 cents to $10.115 a bushel; and July oats were flat at $2.2225 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slid 0.25 cent to 95.35 cents a pound; May feeder cattle added 0.35 cent to $1.1312 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.25 cent to 86.70 cents a pound; and May pork bellies edged up 0.15 cent to 96.60 cents a pound.
